Rhody Surf

With private, semi-private and group lessons as well as camps, Rhody Surf offers a variety of surf instruction for the beginner to the more advanced. Rhody Surf starts all instruction on the beach, covering the basics with a 'dry lesson' before diving into the ocean.

All students are provided with a beginner-friendly BIC surfboard and Rhody Surf rash-guard.

Parents may stay during the lesson or drop children off but are required to be on time for pick-up after coordinating with the staff as to how long and what time the lesson will be completed.

Rhody Surf, Inc understands parent's concerns about leaving children unattended but assures all surf instructors are extremely mindful of safety and attend to the needs of every individual

Instructors

Rhody Surf staff has years of experience in teaching both kids and adults the basics of surfing. Owner and founder Bobby Drought has spent years advocating for the preservation and protection of the ocean, giving speeches at elementary schools and incorporating an environmental ethic into his surf instruction.

At Rhody Surf, campers and students will take home new surfing skills as well as an appreciation for the elements that provide the waves.
